Fire and Rescue Team Leader in Kazakhstan

We are recruiting for our client's company in Kazakhstan a team of Fire and Rescue Team Leaders (local)

Main responsibilities: Responding to all emergencies and special service incidents.

  • According to the requirement of the company, the full passage of the probationary period of 3 months
  • Ability to work with personal protective equipment for respiratory organs, conduct combat inspection and verification №1.
  • If necessary, change the dispatcher in communication room;
  • Participation during fire - tactical and emergency rescue drills and exercises;
  • Conduct and participation in daily theoretical and practical exercises;
  • Keep the property of the Company, keep clean and constant readiness of fire and rescue equipment, personal equipment;
  • Know the area (sub district) of the team’s departure, the location of the facilities, their fire hazard, the tactical and technical specifications of the fire fighting and rescue equipment;
  • During the shift will be responsible for his team members.
  • During the shift need to be ready to response to all emergencies and special service incidents and will leave: for fire extinguishing, carrying out rescue operations related with fire extinguishing, carrying out rescue operations at Height and in confined spaces, carrying outgas rescue operations, liquidations of the consequences of hydrocarbons and chemical spills
  • In case of emergencies outside the area of departure, act in accordance with the plan for interaction with State Fire Fighting Services
  • Organization and implementation of the service in accordance with the requirements of the Charter of the Fire Fighting Service and the Rules for the organization of fire fighting of the RoK

  • The job holder will need to show an aptitude to work within this multicultural and multi-stakeholder environment and translate between CoV codes, standards, systems, and practices and the Company Management System.
    Compliance with:
    • Kazakhstan Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Laws/Regulations;
    • The Corporate Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and Safety Management Systems

The job holder’s required or preferred qualifications and experience should be:
Fluent both in Kazakh and Russian

  • RoK Initial preparation Fireman Certification
  • RoK Initial preparation Rescuers Certification
  • Rok Initial preparation Dispatchers Certification
  • First aid certificate upon request of legislation RoK
  • Practical experience in the sphere of fire fighting and rescue operations;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Civil Protection organs in the sphere of emergency response.

Have a permit to work with respiratory protective equipment

The job holder must have proven:

  • Computer skills minimum MS Office
  • Competence in the preparation of technical documentation
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain good working relationships.
  • Complete RoK Safety Knowledge Assessment (Blue Book) within one month of taking post.
  • Passage of Attestation according to legislation of RoK
  • Annual passage of Attestation according to their position
  • Annual passage of competency assessment as a Rescue Team Leader

Working Conditions:

  • Based in Fire station on 14/14 shift (Day/Night);
  • Work will be conducted at locations according to personal contract, as well in different locations according to scope work and by the Company requirements ( Onshore EW, Offshore- if required)
  • Must meet the company's medical requirements;
  • Must be clean shaven at all times;
  • Refrain from the use of alcohol and drugs during their stay on the territory of the Company
  • Work over time and off-shift if requested;
  • By the Company requirements will be temporary differentiate the location to exchanging the experience;
